Common RV repair problems
Engine problems (most common)
Like any other vehicle, RVs need regular maintenance for their engines to operate at optimum performance and like other vehicles the engine are a significant, integral part to the functioning of the vehicle. Specialist repair shops see RVs most often for engine problems than any other.
Dead batteries
RVs consume a lot of power. The battery that powers the engine needs regular charging to maintain its usefulness. If you’re having problems with starting the motor, lights or other electrical’s, give us a call.
Tire blowouts
Tire blowouts are not uncommon for campers and motor homes, this is mainly due to heat build up when the trailer is over loaded or the tires are under inflated. Ever RVs has different tire inflation levels and max loads; be sure you are aware of these and regularly keep an eye on your tires.
AC Overloaded
Hairdryers, coffee machines and other energy intensive devices can be a drain on the ACs resources, but more than these is your roofs air conditioner. If you’re turning on the AV, avoid heavy electrical items or risk tripping a circuit breaker.
